Our continuous commitment to improve the quality of life as we prepare and hone our kiddy and youth for their future by giving importance with the art of savings.
The organization aims to serve as a training ground for members in preparation for regular cooperative membership, foster the value of thrift and savings mobilization, instill cooperative principles, financial discipline, and leadership skills, and promote Filipino social and cultural values, ecological awareness, and sustainable development.
How We Started
June 21, 2013 – with PHCCI-MPC Tacloban as Guardian Cooperative, PHCCI Kiddy and Y.E.S Laboratory Cooperative filed their application for registration to Cooperative Development Authority. With an initial 69 LabCoop Members and an initial Savings Deposit of Php 193,018.49 and Share Capital Deposit of Php 34,313.16 with over five branch and satellite offices serving its members across Region VIII.
Qualifications
Any natural person can be a member of PHCCI-MPC Tacloban provided he/she possess the following:
- Must be resident of Region 8
- Must be a Filipino Citizen
- Must not be younger than seven (7) years of age but below 18 years of age
- Must be willing to undertake the duties and responsibilities of members in the Laboratory Cooperative
- Should have completed the prescribed pre-membership cooperative education program
Documentary Requirements:
- Birth Certificate issued by Local Civil Registry or Philippine Statistics Authority
- Two (2) valid IDs of Parent or Guardian
- School ID or Class Card signed by the Principal/School Head
- Accomplished Membership Form duly signed by the Parent or Guardian
- Deposit and Fees

Rights & Duties of Members
- Attend during general membership meetings
- Avail himself of the services of the Laboratory Cooperative, subject to certain conditions as may be prescribed by the Authorized Officers
- Inspect and examine the books of accounts, the minutes books, the share register, and other records of the Laboratory Cooperative during reasonable office hours
- Secure copies of Laboratory Cooperative records / documents pertaining to the account information of the requesting member and such other rights and privileges as may be granted by the General Assembly
- Participate in the capital build-up and savings mobilization
- Patronize the Laboratory Cooperative’s businesses and services
- Participate in the membership education programs
- Attend and participate in the deliberation of all matters taken during general assembly meetings
- Observe and obey all lawful orders, decisions, rules and regulations adopted by the Authorized Officers and the General Assembly
- Promote the purposes and goals of the Laboratory Cooperative, the success of its business, the welfare of its members and the cooperative movement in general
